Market Reporting data does not include refunds or chargebacks, therefore data totals may vary slightly from your own reconciled data. However this approach is taken consistently across all data sets. Data provided also includes GST and excludes cash withdrawals made at the time of purchase.

Yes. Information on cash, cheque and other non-electronic forms of payment will not be available in these reports. Around 55% of all transactions in New Zealand are made electronically.

No, you can only get reporting for the specific area you are present in.

Online stores are not specific to a particular geographic region, therefore My Market Select and My Market Local cannot be used to track them. For some retailers that have both retail stores and an e-commerce website, we include just the retail store in a market set.

Data on an individual business will never be disclosed. We aggregate data using a strict set of rules so no one will ever see less than five companies’ data combined together.

Around 75% of New Zealand merchants use the Paymark network and we can include all these merchants in our reporting. No information can be provided for merchants who are not on the Paymark network.
