When you join the Paymark network your bank will issue you with a merchant number. This is usually an eight digit number and is used to locate your details in our system.You can find this number on your Paymark Statement/Invoice.

A settlement window/cutover time tells us when your day's trading has ended so that we can credit your account overnight. Your bank provides us with this information on your behalf when you sign up. If you would like to change this time, contact us directly.

You can change your settlement account number by contacting your bank directly. Your bank can also help you process a change of ownership, trading or legal name.

You can do a settlement enquiry on your EFTPOS terminal at any time. However, please note that you can only do one settlement cutover daily.

There are a couple of different ways to get this information. You can do a settlement enquiry on your EFTPOS terminal, which can be done for any date up to seven days prior to the current date.

Some terminals can be set-up to run more than one merchant, such as a doctor’s surgery. Talk to your terminal provider for more details – their contact details are often on a sticker on your terminal.

If you have a terminal that you are temporarily not using Paymark may be able to provide a standby option that suspends your EFTPOS terminal for up to six months whilst it is not in use. A fee applies to use the standby service. If you have a small or seasonal business, you may benefit from this option.

Please contact your bank to arrange for cancellation of one or more of your terminals. If you are cancelling a mobile EFTPOS terminal don’t forget you will also need to give Paymark one month's written notice of the cancellation.

Yes provided your landline’s dial-out number at your new premises is the same as it was at your old premises. If you now require a prefix (such as dialling 1 to get an external line) or vice versa, your terminal will need to be reconfigured to reflect this.

If you are operating a fixed wireless terminal, then you will need to ensure you have sufficient GPRS coverage at your new premises.

To accept Contactless payments, you must first contact your terminal provider to ensure your terminal has this functionality. From there, contact your bank to apply for Contactless functionality.

You can update your legal or trading name, as well as the name of your business on your receipt, by contacting your bank. Your bank can also help you change your settlement number.
