At Paymark our mission is to help kiwi business succeed
It’s a big job and we’re always on the lookout for people to come join us. Along the way we want our people to achieve their own version of success too.
So whether you’ve got a passion for fintech, want to take your career to the next level or are looking for the perfect work-life balance, we should talk.
A word from Liam
We’ve committed to cultivating an environment that builds our people up, supports diversity and helps everyone at all levels do their best work.
But we’re in no way done. Success isn’t a destination, so we pride ourselves on maintaining a work environment that motivates the habitual excellence needed for both Paymark and its people to be successful. That’s everything from providing the right development opportunities and wellness initiatives, to being flexible enough so that our people can meet the demands of life outside of work.
- Liam O’Reilly, Chief Executive Officer
Something a little sweet
Our Pick n Mix benefits programme celebrates our wonderfully diverse team. On top of your salary and company KiwiSaver contribution, each year you’ll get over $800 to spend on a variety of options that cater to everyone’s lifestyles and preferences. So that covers everything from topping up your KiwiSaver, to buying a gym membership or the latest technology gadget you’ve had your eye on.
“I felt like a valued member of the team from day one and was given practical work like patching and implementing platform changes. My main project was to create a website that provides status updates for all of Paymark’s products in realtime. My time at Paymark really exceeded my expectations. I got industry experience and developed way more skills than I expected to. The best part - my team! Everyone was incredibly encouraging and supportive. My advice for future Paymark interns is to enjoy every moment of it, I know I did.”
-Calli Bates, Platform Engineer Intern
In November 2017, Calli joined our digital technology team as an intern for 3 months. The team were gutted she had to head back to uni, but hope to bring her back as a permanent employee in the near future.
If you’re looking for an internship opportunity at Paymark, stay tuned for the next induction later this year, both here and on LinkedIn.
