Paymark Virtual, our internet payments gateway, enables thousands of online businesses to stay open 24 hours a day, every day of the year by providing an instant way for consumers to pay for goods and services with their credit cards, at websites, or over the phone.
Recently we added a multi currency capability to the system and also trialed the use of proprietary debit cards over the internet.
Proprietary cards online is an innovative service that's part of the Paymark Issuer proposition. It allows issuers of non-bank charge, store, gift and loyalty cards to offer their cardholders the ability to use their cards online.
In the mCommerce area, Mobile Top Up is a mobile payment service that's unique to New Zealand and links a mobile number to a bank account. Quite simply, it lets customers use their mobile phones to top up their mobile prepaid account directly from their bank account. Transaction volumes are on the increase as banks have enabled additional access to Mobile TopUp for their customers.
