After two years of significant development effort the Paymark ATM service went to market in early 2008.

The ATM channel offers a range of support services to card issuers and independent sales organisations that provide ATM terminal systems to their merchant and bank customers.

The Paymark ATM service is initially targeted at the providers of independent ATM services. It provides the necessary management, monitoring and settlement services to enable these organisations to deliver a real time service to their customers. Independent ATMs are kiosk styled freestanding units typically available at retail merchant locations rather than within a bank branch.

These devices can operate using the "user pays up front" independent model or the traditional "interchange" model offering a range of revenue options to market participants in this channel.
